Cr12MoV itself has a high content of C and Cr, with strong anti-rust ability, but there are other metals in it, which will be slightly corroded after long-term use.
Cr12MoV has been tested for chrome plating, but due to long contact friction with the workpiece, the chromium layer wears away the skin and affects the appearance.
Later, it was found that the quenching C60 and the increase of surface roughness can meet the requirements of use, so the surface treatment is not carried out in the subsequent use.
Cr12 quenching can also reach 58-62 degrees, but Cr12mov has better anti-impact load capability, and the parts require a high budget and space, which can replace Cr12 with Cr12mov.
